Privacy Notice

This notice covers visits to our website, our contact form, email with us, and Jack experiences operated directly by JOLT.

When an organization embeds or configures Jack for its own users, that organization may decide why and how information is used. In that setting, its notice and contract with JOLT also apply, and JOLT may act as its service provider or processor.

We disclose information to categories of service providers that support hosting and storage, communications, AI and content processing, information retrieval, security and abuse prevention, site delivery, and analytics. See our Service Provider Categories.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not disclose personal information to advertising networks.

• Routine Jack conversations are scheduled for deletion about 30 days after last activity.
• Flagged conversations and automated safety-event records are generally scheduled for deletion about 90 days after the relevant activity. Some access restrictions may remain longer when reasonably needed for security.
• Records specifically identified in an active legal hold are preserved until the hold is released.
• Pseudonymous identity records are generally scheduled for deletion about 12 months after last activity; short-lived abuse-prevention records are kept for about one day.
• Contact and business correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations.

Deletion on these schedules is enforced by automated daily jobs; records under an active legal hold are excluded until the hold is released.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, and to appeal a denied request. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable rights.

Email discover@joltinnovation.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. For Jack, include the request ID shown under the privacy icon in the chat header. We may verify the request and may retain information when an applicable legal exception or active legal hold requires it. If we deny a request and applicable law gives you an appeal right, reply with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject and explain why you want the decision reviewed.

Our public marketing site, JOLT-operated marketing assistant, and public demonstration are general-audience services. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through them. The in-chat notice shown before the assistant initializes is not an identity-based age-verification service. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 submitted information there and we will delete it as required by law.

Jack does not currently provide parental consent or a verified-minor workflow. A customer must not launch it for children under 13 or for students unless JOLT and the customer first approve a separate, documented school or parent workflow. The customer agreement and applicable student-privacy requirements also apply.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect the information, but no internet service is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. The transfer terms that apply to a particular customer depend on the relevant provider and customer agreements.

We post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If applicable law requires additional notice, or a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide notice through the Site or using contact information available to us.
