SMS Consent
How people agree to receive text messages from a JOLT Agent.

The program
The JOLT Agent is a managed AI agent that JOLT Innovation Consulting, LLC provides to its paying clients. Each client’s agent has its own phone number and texts the client, and other people the client shares a sign-up link with who sign up themselves: replies to their messages, reminders they ask for, and requests for their approval before the agent acts. The messages are generated and sent by JOLT’s software, and every one starts with “JOLT Agent:”. It sends no marketing.
Who can sign up
- Clients receive a unique sign-up link during onboarding, after they purchase.
- Guests receive a unique sign-up link only if a client chooses to share it with them. The agent never texts anyone who has not signed up.
- Each person checks the consent box themselves. Neither JOLT staff nor a client can opt anyone in on their behalf.
How a client signs up
After a client purchases, JOLT sends them their own sign-up link. They choose whether to receive texts, then confirm by replying YES. Sign-up links are unique to each person, so the exact screens people see are reproduced here, word for word.

How a guest signs up
A client can share a sign-up link with other people, such as family or an assistant, so they can text the agent too. The client shares the link themselves and cannot enter anyone else’s number, and JOLT and the agent never text anyone who has not signed up. Each guest decides for themselves whether to sign up.
